Organized by Mr Karan Tilani, organiser of the World’s Most Exclusive Dinner and director of World of Diamonds Group, this dinner was sold for US$2M to a Singaporean couple, where proceeds will go towards eradicating child mortality from pneumonia in Nigeria through Danish humanitarian non-profit DINNødhjælp.
The US$2 million dinner took place last week (January 27-29, 2020) and consisted of a host of experiences lasting two days. It began with a dining experience atop the 1-V:U and a night at the Outpost Hotel featuring 10,000 roses. The next day started with a cruise in Singapore on a luxury Ferretti 780 yacht, with the highlight of the next experience: an 18-course dinner by Kirk Westaway of Michelin-starred JAAN onboard OJets' Global 6000 aircraft.
To round off the experience, two pairs of diamond-encrusted chopsticks were presented to the couple for their enjoyment during the dinner, together with the Jane Seymour ring, a rose-gold plated platinum ring set with a rare 2.08-carat cushion-cut fancy vivid blue diamond. The evening ended with a night at the Presidential Suite of the newly restored Raffles Singapore. Throughout the 2-day experience, the couple were chauffeured in a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead convertible.
